On Wednesday, Dec 3rd Hip Hop Gives Back’s Minorities in The Media made its second stop of the year at Atlanta’s Grady High School. Joined by panelists from the fields of entertainment, journalism, community organizers and spiritual leaders. We’d like to thank Whitney Stovall, Branden Peters, Tai Saint-Louis, Fort Knox, Cedric Harrison and Brother Lewis with Nation of Islam for their time, contributions and efforts to educate, enlighten and empower the attendees at Grady High School! The panel discussed topics from mainstream media’s targeting and portrayal of minorities on TV, the effects of positive and negative positioning on social media, preparing for college, career choices and much more! Check out the pics and be on the look out for our next stop! #HipHopGivesBack #MITM #HHGB #Grady#GivingBack #BuildingUp
